About the Book About the Book

To "Play the Yellow Tape" is police jargon meaning to cordon off a crime scene with yellow crime scene tape.

Bobbie Lee, whose mother was a murder victim, knew all too well the devastating meaning of the yellow tape. This was the tape she had to step over to enter the building where her mother lay dying.

Her personal need to keep her mother's memory alive sparked an interest in the forgotten lives of other murder victims.

This collection of 55 short stories represents decades-old solved and unsolved murder cases in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and surrounding areas. As you read each victim's story -- for a brief moment -- that victim's memory will be alive again.
